------------------------------------

I teach the Drums to children and I believe that it is always easier to teach the children than teenagers, though some believe that children learn music not so easily and you need to spend much more time to teach them a line!

This is in fact a problem that we are not able to communicate with them and understand their world.

With a little research and patience there will always be a solution and one that i've found is that  The western notation is really hard for children. There are some reasons. The first is they have to learn some symbols that are always with some problems.second is the duration of the notes. We have to teach them that for example this note is one forth of the other one. Fractions are always hard to understand. Ask yourself what is the meaning of 1/8

The Most Important thing is that you should let the child talk in your class and if you listen carefully then you will be able to understand what he/she wants to say. They are always honest and this is absolutely valuable.

Many cultures have long and distinct musical traditions, and the goal is not only the making of good music, but the preservation/transmission of the culture in a relatively traditional form. There is a way to do the music, and a way not to do it.

Only experienced and authorized drummers are supposed to play, and there is a prescribed method of getting to that position, by studying with a Master drummer.

Drumming is good for relaxation, fosters a sense of unity and encourages self-expression, resulting in a more positive self-esteem, drumming for brief periods can actually change a person’s brainwave patterns, dramatically reducing stress.  He has found that the effect of drumming produces far greater results than any other form of stress management. Best of all  Drumming is something everyone can do, and requires no musical training. just good old mother nature
