我們的作者J.Gipson 發現這個獨特的 男人也是全城最好的鼓手Don Ashley 在香港演出，他重覆地被警告不要煽動麻煩 ,回憶四年前，唐龍還是"Ramband" 的成員當時在伊利沙伯體育館演「我已不斷重複地要求群眾坐低，群眾當然不肯坐低，因為他們在投入享受音樂而非找麻煩，在第五首音樂之後主辦單位竟亮起全場館的燈. 破壞了全場演出。長期以來所有政府場地都禁止我們演出 似乎不公平唐龍說。

And if you've really been there or seen all   of my Webpages, you'd probably also notice that there wasn't a Concert done in my Career where our Fans weren't standing  all over the Hall in front of the Stage. singing with us on a Neil Young hit song Hey,Hey My My,   Rock and Roll will never Die....

Ramband 在中環大會堂演出後，樂迷們極度興奮，在乘搭天星渡海輪的時候，上下層的樂迷都一起在唱我們剛 演奏的的歌曲( 著名樂隊Queen的歌曲"We Will Rock You"，直至到達九龍，成為翌日報章頭條。在香港音樂 歷史至今從沒有再發生過。此次地下音樂會已是同類音樂會的第二次舉行。記得上回的1st 地下音樂會就曾令所有到場觀衆為之拍案叫絕，一致認為是年來本地樂壇中 最有份量的一個音樂會。 當然，上次最哄動的就是 Ramband 的精彩演出。而自此之後，整個樂把 Ramband 實為全港最佳樂隊美譽傳播開去。Ramband 各隊員的一流技術能不叫人佩服得五體投地，特別是 Donald Ashley 的鼓與 Peter Ng 之主音結他。香港突然出現了這隊造詣足可與外國著名樂隊一較高下的樂隊誠為本地樂壇之光榮。 就是前陣來港演唱的 Sergio Mendes 樂隊及 Don  Louis (著名樂隊音响控制師，他跟 Stevie Wonder，Emerson、Lake & Palmer 等都甚為諗熟。) 而一隊像Sergio Mendes 這樣在樂壇屹立多年的樂隊，當然會有如此一位非等閒之 輩的音响控制專家 Don Louis 亦每晚親臨 Ramband 演奏之處捧場，甚至認為此樂隊是他近年來在各地巡迥演出所見到最好的一隊。由此可想而知 Ramband 絕對是香港第   一隊有資格與外國著名搖擺樂隊分庭抗禮的 超級樂 隊。     Recorded in the History books of Pop Music in Hong Kong, no Artiste or Group ever and even till this date could set the records straighter! It was Headline news the following day after our Concert at the City Hall was that most of the audience from the concert packed the Star Ferry boat on  the way back to Kowloon were all singing or chanting  Queen's ""We Will Rock You"  all  the way across the harbor i mean both upper and lower Decks!    

We were so lucky to have so much moral support from some       of the legends themselves, for example here's CEO of RTHK  Winnie Yu whom also has supported and air played a lot of Rambands first album and in  turn Rock & Roll Love Affair  a track off the album became a hit during that era was titled   Rock & Roll Love Affair and the second plug song  to follow was Someone Like You.

Standing Ovations are usually shown by the Audiences enthusiasm, how about a Standing Drum Solo! which the Don proved worthy during the Ramband Concert at the City Hall Concert Hall in 1980
