My Philosophy in Teaching

The understanding of music and incorporating rhythm and groove together with phrasing. It's about feeling and hearing and using the skills other than just technical,

or mechanical but emotional, which is the most Important formula in all musical styles.

I look for students with diligence, one who will practice and be dedicated

to improving and learning skills.

IMPROVEMENT:

If you want to make a dramatic improvement in playing, a drum lesson is vital. This goes for all you drummers of any style , marching drums, congas percussion, And to be honest, you're getting short changed if you focus on just one area of drumming They're ALL related, A drum lesson can help with areas your comfortable with instruments and techniques you have not known of or learnt otherwise!

Is exciting, uplifting , empowering. It's also good for your health! it burns more calories per minute than cycling, hiking, tennis or weight training and offers impressive neurological, psychological and social benefits.Physical: Cardio-vascular, muscular,

理解能力得以正確地掌握基本技巧糾正錯誤。通過理論及實踐融會通一步提昇

My Curriculum is as follows:

Students must notify me of a lesson cancellation a minimum of 48 hours prior to lesson time. If at least 48 hours notice is given, then a makeup lesson will be scheduled at the earliest possible date. If less than 48 hours' notice is given, the student will be charged for the lesson and no makeup lesson will be given. There are no exceptions to this policy.

BEGINNERS COURSE: $ 4,500 鼓的基本認識，Drum Tuning / Notation Read & Write - Pop / Rock & Jazz styles - 26 Standard Rudiments

節奏及技巧訓練，讀譜，執歌，速度訓練，節奏創作，Band 房錄鼓技巧，即興演奏及敲擊樂等可保送英國聖三一音樂學院鼓試．

INTERMEDIATE: $6,500 : 40 International P.A.S. Snare Rudiments

Co-Ordination and independence Finger control Moeller Technique Dynamics Styles of Music include: Pop - Rock - Dance - Metal - Jazz Latin - Odd time signatures and Drum Soloing concepts.

Courses consists Six ( 6 ) two hour classes per week- for those who have been inquiring about taking lessons but do not have a set time table or always in and out of town? we have decided to add an additional "Pay Per Lesson " which will cost $500.00 for a ( 60 )min one on one with the Master. for further Information, please feel free to fax or call 24821108 or email : cy6363@yahoo.com.hk

For those of Interest out there who would like to but thought you couldn't afford to then the time is now for you to enroll into the Master's Ensemble Classes for Newbies which is a 2 Hour lesson once a week consisting of Drum Theory & Notation / P.A.S. 40 Drum Rudiments / Stick Control / Speed & Endurance / Rhythm & Groove Concepts from Pop Rock /Dance Jazz / Latin /

Questions & Answers.

CRITERIA:

No matter how young, middle aged, old doesn't really matter, playing the drums can be the most rewarding experience.

It will keep you active, it will keep you thinking, and it will keep you in the know.

It will keep you Fit Slim and by that alone means staying Healthy I would most strongly suggest drumming to parents with kids of any type. It does helps shape the personality of

a person by teaching them some fundamental life skills responsibility, Discipline and most importantly is keeping

the children out of harms way.

PRACTICE:

There is no prerequisite to studying drums with me. All level

of students are welcome; however, as a Teacher do want all my students (regardless

of age or ability) to be self-motivated, content, organized and focused in their studies. Many students and parents want to know how much practice time that will require. My answer to that is there

is no set time for all of my students. Everyone learns at a different rate. Practice until you have mastery of the material at hand. After a while, you will get to know yourself and how much time to you need to set aside for practice. And remember it's no crime to periodically not have your lesson prepared. Come to the scheduled lesson regardless you'll still learn something , dig it baby!
